Citizen Jim LOVES him
some music, now, and he loves him ALL KINDS of it!
| Neither the world
of music nor the world inside Jim's head was ever the same
after Roger Waters and Co. let loose with their admiration
for Michael Jackson and released The Wall, their "sequel"
to this pop classic. |
|
| In 1982, Citizen
Jim bought this album and fell madly, helplessly in love with
"Koo Koo" Kate Bush. Unfortunately for him, it was
David Gilmour she slept with to get "discovered,"
not Citizen Jim. Dang! |
|
| Jim had always
been of a "take it or leave it" mindset about rap,
until Death Row Records released this album. "Gangsta
rap make me feel like ain' nothin I can't do, yo," Jim
often commented after listening to "Murder Was the Case"
by rap icon Snoop Doggy Dogg. The Fairhope police were not
in agreement when they arrested Jim for trying carjack John
Nelson's Jaguar from in front of Mary Ann's Deli in broad
daylight. During Arts & Crafts. (DOH!) |
|
| Citizen Jim claims
to know "the real story" behind the cryptic
title of this Jimmy Buffett album. However, when asked to
spill the beans, all Jim will say is, "He is good to
Miss Peets and his daddy, and that's something,"
adding with a smirk, "I know all about that turd-burgler
in paradise!" |
